
TACTICAL PISTOL COURSE
This course is designed to build real-world pistol proficiency by identifying weaknesses, reinforcing fundamentals, and pushing performance in high-stress environments. Whether you’re a novice shooter or an experienced practitioner, this course focuses on functional application over theory because in a gunfight, only performance matters.
Students will develop the mindset and skills necessary to operate a pistol efficiently in dynamic situations. The course blends marksmanship with tactical movement, defensive shooting concepts, and decision-making under pressure.
Course Topics Include:
• Marksmanship under stress
• Drawing and engaging from the holster
• Combat shooting techniques
• Shooting on the move
• Use of cover and concealment
• Target transitions and situational awareness
• Unconventional shooting positions
• Recoil control and rapid follow-up shots
Upon completion, students will have the tools and confidence to engage effectively and decisively with their pistol in real-world encounters.
Recommended Equipment / What to Bring:
• Pistol with a minimum of 3 magazines
• Holster (outside-the-waistband strongly recommended)
• Eye and ear protection
• Minimum of 400 rounds of pistol ammunition
• Proper range attire (long sleeves recommended)
• Bug spray, sunblock, and hydration (water, electrolytes, etc.)
